Linda Imbler writes

Uncurtained

Don't use long hair as a curtain
to block what you don't want to see.

Keep the hair,
but use pins of kindness and compassion
to pull the aptly named blinds away from your eyes.

Strategically placed,
they keep the wind from blowing sin into your face,
to help you circumvent evil before it settles.

Wear your hair long, but,
do your part as a loving, thinking,
soulful creature of this Earth.
