Michael Marrotti writes

Misandry

The past and present
women of my life
have given me
enough to reach
enlightenment
and taken enough
to keep me humble

I'm stuck between
enmity and sentimental
arousal when I travel
back in time or
pursue what's at
my personal disposal

The problem lies
when I pull my pants up
Take a walk outside
is it a conspiracy
I'm treated with scorn
by the opposite gender

A woman's body
is a temple
my place of worship
I'm not a misogynist
but after all this
unjustified abuse
I think they'd prefer
I become one
